New Homeschoolers

If you are transitioning from a traditional school to homeschooling, we advise you to homeschool for at least one year before taking Core classes in this unique educational environment.  The Core Program is designed to assist families who are homeschooling and not those who are looking for a school. The transition from traditional schooling to Core is difficult and best navigated by experienced homeschoolers.

We do allow new homeschoolers to take core classes at Core, but only if there are openings after the majority of students, who have been homeschooling, have already registered. Therefore, new homeschoolers will only be registered at Late Registration.

Mission Statement

The Core Program exists to assist homeschool families in Lexington, KY, as they seek to provide a meaningful education for their high school students, marked by the development of intellectual curiosity, academic integrity, and personal excellence.
