The Core Program Overview

•   Classes meet all day on Tuesdays and in the morning on Thursdays.

•   All classes meet once a week except for high school English and math courses and Chemistry & Physics.

•   All classes meet for a complete academic year of 34 weeks.

•   Instructors set objectives, choose curriculum, and establish rules and expectations for each class.  Students who do not comply may be asked by the instructor to withdraw from the class.

•   Mastery is required for progression within subject areas. Classes may be repeated to achieve mastery as space permits.

•   For specific information regarding classes, such as content, curriculum, and expectations for students, please e-mail instructors directly.

•   Tuition for each course is specified in the Core Tuition Fee Sheet and in the Tuition Tiers document. Textbooks as well as copy and supply fees will be included in the Core Text and Supply List, posted on the website in June.

•   Study halls are offered for students with free periods between classes. A maximum of 2 study halls is permitted each day.
